Mother's Day Gift Idea: Blurb Photo Book
This post is sponsored by Blurb. All opinions are my own.
With Mother's Day coming up next month, I've been trying to come up with some unique gift ideas to treat my mom to. It seems like every year I give the standard gift card and flowers, so this year I really want to give her something extra special. Photo books seem to be super popular right now, so I thought it would be a great time to create one and make a gift for my mom at the same time. For my very first book, I've teamed up with Blurb to create an album full of my mom's special memories, including photos from her childhood, selfies with her friends, and pictures of all of her family members.
I'm so happy with how her book turned out! With Blurb, you're able to design the book completely from front cover to the back. I was able to include so many of her favorite pictures and special memories, including photos of her family members that live on the other side of the country and her favorite picture of her grandparents from when she was little. I also added some inspiring quotes and silly family photos we've taken over the years. All of her immediate family lives far away, so this is will be great for her to flip through when she's feeling homesick and missing them the most. The book turned out better than I had hoped. I'm so happy with how it looks, and I really think it will be the perfect coffee table book or personal decor piece for her home.
The whole design process was super easy and user-friendly. I had never created one of these books before, and was worried that it was going to be too difficult or that my book would look really plain. Thankfully, Blurb has set up their website to be incredibly easy to use. I was able to work on my book both from my computer and my phone, and was able to pull photos from my camera roll and computer files, as well as social media sites like Facebook and Instagram. Once I had all of my photos uploaded, it was a simple drag-and-drop process to add photos to each page. The best part is that Blurb has different layouts you can use, so I was able to change up the way each page looked.
