Pamper Evening Routine + Essentials
- Sponsored by BIC Soleil -
After a long week, I can think of nothing better than to treat myself to a luxurious pamper night to set the stage so I'm bright, refreshed, and ready to keep making my own sun in the week ahead. Not only is it kinder to my wallet, but I can also relax more and take my time because I'm in the comfort of my own home. Today, I'm teaming up with my friends over at BIC® Soleil® and BIC® Soleil Shine® to share my pamper evening routine + the essentials beauty products for the perfect night in.
To start my night, I like to take a nice warm shower or bubble bath. It often depends on how much time I have to spare, but I usually opt for the bath because it's so intensely relaxing. I like to use products that not only cleanse, but also hydrate my skin so when I get out, I'll feel silky soft. While soaking, I like to apply a nourishing face mask that will help melt away any impurities and soothe my skin. I find that the steam from the hot bath or shower opens my pores, so this is the perfect time to get them all cleaned out.
Once I've rinsed off the sugar scrub and drained the tub, it's time to focus on hair removal. To get my limbs hair-free and silky smooth, I use a combination of the BIC® Soleil Shine® Razor and shave cream. Together, these two remove hair effortlessly and I'm left with the softest skin ever. The Soleil Shine® Razor has 5 flexible blades, getting every hair in one swipe. It also has a Soothing Moisture Strip® enriched with aloe and cocoa butter. I've tried my fair share of razors, and this is the one I will always come back to because it works so well.
HANDS & FEET
Next, after I've dried off, I like to focus on my hands and feet. Using creams, oils, and lotions, I give them a good massage and some TLC. I always make sure to use some cuticles oils (because no matter what, mine constantly feel dry), and this is usually when I'll take off any old polish and put on a fresh coat. Since I use my hands for work every day, I really enjoy this time because I'm able to give them a rest from typing, writing, and checking my phone.
Now that all of that is done, it's time to slip into some soft, cozy pajamas, and decide how I want to spend the rest of my evening. Sometimes it's wrapped up in a cozy blanket with my latest read, other times it's binge-watching my current favorite tv show. Whatever it may be, I always make sure to turn my phone off and not stress over anything work-related. This is "me" time, and I'm determined to enjoy every minute of it.
