Sometimes I feel like being a beauty blogger comes with a stigma that we’re supposed to know everything when it comes to beauty, makeup, and…
It’s surreal to think that tomorrow is the last day of 2017. Even though all of the holidays have come and passed, it still feels crazy that a brand new year is about to start. As I’ve been thinking over the goals I want to set for myself in 2018, I’ve also been reminiscing over the past 12 months and all of the things I’ve accomplished during that time. 2017 wasn’t a bad year for me. While every year has it’s ups and it’s downs, this one was mostly positive and there were some really great things that I got to check off my goals list.
I’m somewhat sad about this post because it’s the last of my Christmas content for the year, but I’m super excited to share the things I got from my family this year. I was a little unsure whether or not to do this post, but after asking you guys on Instagram if you’d like to see it, I received an almost unanimous “yes!” I love getting to see what other people got for Christmas, so hopefully you guys will enjoy my little haul as well.
Merry Christmas everyone! I’ll be taking the next few days off to enjoy the holiday with family, so I thought I’d pop in real quick to wish you all happiness and joy for the holidays. I’m so looking forward to today’s activities – baking Christmas cookies, watching countless holiday movies, going out light looking, and enjoying a big dinner with the family (including lots of goodies and sparkling cider). The last of the gifts are wrapped, all of the decorations are in place, and we’re less than 24 hours away from the big day!
Happy November! Another month has flown by, and October really passed quickly for me because it was such a busy month. Besides getting to work with some really amazing brands, I had a thorough clean-out of my home, got the place decorated for the season, and had my grandma visit for 10 days. Looking back, it felt like October was a non-stop rush, so I’m looking forward to taking November a little bit slower while still enjoying the seasonal festivities. As soon as the 1st hit, I started listening to Christmas music on repeat, so you can guess what kind of mood I’ll be in for the rest of 2017.
Happy October! I can’t believe September is already gone, but couldn’t be happier for my favorite month to finally be here. Springfield blessed us with a truly chilly morning, so it finally feels like fall has arrived and is here to stay. I’m super excited for a fresh new month to start. September was like a sort of “restart” for me – I was able to shake off my summer melancholy, find fresh inspiration for blogging, and create a work routine that allows me to be more productive than ever. This month, I’d like to continue that productivity as well as enjoy as many seasonal festivities as possible.
