Each season, I try to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe to replace anything old and unused. Winter is one of my favorite seasons for fashion because I love layering and bundling up in cozy clothes, so shopping for a few additional pieces is always fun. I took advantage of some of the Black Friday and after-Christmas sales at a few of my favorite stores, and found some really great wardrobe additions.View Post
When it comes to accessories, I like to have a few classic pieces that go with everything. I use to buy big statement pieces that were colorful and unique because I thought they looked fun, but over time I found that it was too difficult to actually style them without looking gaudy. Now I just have a handful of accessories that are my go-to pieces for everyday looks.
Autumn will forever be my favorite season for experimenting with style. There are so many different ways you can play around with your look during this time of year, whether it’s with makeup, clothing, hair, or accessories. Since the weather is nice and chilly, you can get away with layering clothing and accessories to create cozy outfits, plus the colors of the season make some great inspiration for your own color palette. Now that New York Fashion Week has officially begun, I’ve got all things style-related on the brain. This is one of my favorite times of the year because I love getting to see all of the innovative designs and possible trends for the upcoming season. Looking at the beginnings of the street style shots from the event got me to thinking about how I would dress if I were attending the event. I would definitely want to wear killer outfits, but honestly? I enjoy being comfortable, especially when I know I have a lot of rushing around I have to do. Luckily, there are a few clever ways you can look incredibly chic without sacrificing comfort.View Post
I’ve been slowly going through all of my clothes as I pack for this move, and getting rid of a bunch of things has opened up some space in my closet. Naturally, I’ve begun to think about what pieces I’m lacking in and what I should get to give my wardrobe a nice refresh. As a result, I’ve started a little fashion wish list (well, it was supposed to be little) of cute items I’ve been spying at ASOS. I’m a huge fan of ASOS because their clothing and accessories are so well made, and they carry a bunch of pieces that match my style perfectly. If you’re looking to do a little wardrobe shopping, check out the goodies from my wish list below and perhaps you’ll fall in love with something as well.View Post

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve shared a “what’s in my bag?” post, so I thought it would be a good idea to give a little update. I always love these kinds of posts, probably because I’m nosy (haha) but also because I tend to get some helpful tips from them. Since I’m sure most of you are the same way, I’ve decided to jazz this post up with a few tips for some everyday essentials you should definitely be carrying in your bag.View Post
