April Goals

April Goals

Happy April, Easter, and April Fools! So many things have all landed on the same day, which makes me think April is going to be particularly special. It’s finally starting to feel like spring here (although we’re supposed to get light snow showers tonight, dammit). We’ve been getting a ton of rain here lately, which has made taking blog photos an absolute chore because of the lack of light. “April showers bring May flowers” is the old saying though, and it’s already proving true as some of the trees around my neighborhood have begun blooming. I have a good feeling about this month, and have a nice little list of goals I’ll be working towards over the next few weeks.

April Goals

  • Create some more templates for Instagram (are there any in particular you guys would like to see?)
  • Reach out to work with some different brands
  • Add some new photo packs to the shop
  • Change up my content calendar so I can start posting more about beauty
  • Try a couple different strategies on Instagram to see if I can get engagement to be a little more consistent
  • Continue learning how to do different edits in Photoshop
  • Find some organizers for my bookshelves so I can take advantage of every bit of available space
  • Also, find a drawer organizer for my bedside table (any recommendations?)
  • Pick a literary classic to get lost in (again, recommendations?)
  • Buy some fresh flowers and eucalyptus to decorate my home (and blog photos) with
  • Reorganize my bathroom and get rid of any products that I’m no longer liking/using
  • Put together a big makeup and skincare giveaway to celebrate reaching 9k on Instagram and just to say thank you to everyone for their support (more on that very soon!)

What’s one goal you’d like to accomplish this month?

Fresh flowers! I’ll definitely get them as well. Good luck for the new month! For me, it’s time to start-over and catching up with some works. I really want to do more beauty contents on my blog.

I loved this post gal! There’s just something so motivating about setting new goals! My literary classic recommendation would be any of the Jane Austen’s, especially Sense and Sensibility, or Wuthering Heights-it’s hard to read but so worth it when you get to the happy ending! Hope you have a great April! xx

My main goal this month is to declutter! I thought I’d got rid of a lot of things I don’t use/need anymore when I moved house but apparently I still own way, way too many clothes! x

You’ve got some nice goals going on for this month, good luck! With regards to literary classics, I’m a massive fan of childrens classics more than the “adult” ones – books like Peter Pan or 101 Dalmatians are wonderful books that don’t get enough recognition.

I just watched the remake of “Far from the Madding Crowd” from 2015, and now I’m obsessed. I just downloaded the book and I’m loving it! If you haven’t read that yet, it could be a good option for you!! Great goals!!

For a book classic I recommend: Little Women, Anna Karenina, The Picture of Dorian Grey, To kill a Mockinbird (my personal favorite!), …:)

Can’t wait to see your instagram templates!

My goals for April are mostly career focused, but I would also like to start planning out blogposts, and finish a blog calendar spread in my bullet journal!
