A New Drugstore Moisturizing Hero From Olay

High end skincare has been taking the forefront lately, so I’ve been trying to give drugstore products more of a chance to see if there are any that really stand out from the rest. Olay recently came out with a collection of moisturizers called Whips, and they come in three hydrating formulas – Regenerist, Luminous, and Total Effects. I’ve been using the Total Effects Whip for the past few weeks and am excited to share my thoughts on this new drugstore hero!A New Drugstore Moisturizing Hero From Olay A New Drugstore Moisturizing Hero From Olay

First, a bit about these new moisturizers… Olay Whips have a light as air feel and are made to absorb right away thanks to their whipped texture. They come in two formulations – regular and SPF 25 – and there are three variations as mentioned above. The Regenerist Whip is made with an anti-aging formula to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, the Luminous Whip works with a brightening formula to even out skin tone and reduce the look of pores, and the Total Effects Whip has a nourishing formula that includes Vitamin C & E for visibly healthy skin. Also, all three Whips are made with Active Rush Technology, which transforms from cream to liquid on the skin for instant absorption!

Olay asked me to try the Total Effects Whip*, and I’ve been using for the past couple weeks so I could really see how well it works. I can confidently say that I am a huge fan and will continue using this as part of my everyday skincare routines. It’s light enough to be used as a daytime moisturizer, but still incredibly hydrating so it works quite well for your evening routine. Some days I would use it morning and night, and other times I would just use it once. Either way, I’ve been absolutely loving it!

The whipped formula is really light and absorbs so incredibly fast. It starts out like a light lotion and changes to more of a watery consistency, which I absolutely love for moisturizers because they never leave the skin feeling greasy or heavy. A little definitely goes a long way. I just dot a bit on my cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose, and massage it into the skin for a hydrated complexion. The scent is also light and clean and doesn’t linger all day long which is really nice.

I’ve used Olay moisturizers in the past and they’ve always worked out so well for my skin. I’m able to layer them with serums and/or face oils easily, they give you a lot of product, and the price is always super affordable. I’m already looking forward to trying the Luminous formula with SPF 25 for the summer (honestly, I wish they would make a body version of this too because I would use it like crazy for the warmer months). The Whip doesn’t have a pump but I usually have a little plastic skincare spatula or silicone brush nearby that I’m able to use to get the product out though.

Olay Whips are now available to purchase in store and online! I got mine at my local Walgreens, which is one of my favorite places to shop for drugstore skincare and makeup because you can usually use quite a few coupons to help save yourself some money.

Have you tried the new Olay Whips yet? You can get it from Walgreens here!
