3 Indie Beauty Brands Worth Supporting

2017 has definitely been the year for indie beauty brands. It’s been so cool to see new and emerging brands really make a name for themselves, and all of the different releases have been super exciting to try out. Thanks to these companies, I’ve discovered so many amazing products (some have even been getting more use than their high end counterparts). Today, I thought it would be fun to share 3 of my favorite indie beauty brands that have lived up to the hype and are totally worth supporting.

Glossier is by far my favorite discovery of 2017. This brand has lived up to the hype like no other, and I’ve had so much fun using their products for the past month. Glossier is a brand that focuses on skincare first, and keeping beauty simple. Their Milky Jelly Cleanser is absolutely insane for keeping the skin clean, soothed, and hydrated. My skin is currently in the best condition it’s ever been, and I’ve actually been able to wear less makeup because of it. Also, the Haloscope is literally glowing light in a stick. Just FYI.

The Ordinary

You had to of been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of this brand by now. The Ordinary has been get so much love on beauty blogs recently, and for good reason. Their products give incredible high end results and their prices are so affordable! I’m currently using the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum to keep my skin clear from hormonal breakouts, and it cost less than $6 for a bottle that’s been lasting me for months. I’m really looking forward to trying more of their products, especially the Serum and Coverage Foundations.

Anese is a brand I’ve been using for the past couple years, and they will forever have a special place in my heart. I really love how fun and quirky their products are. The body and hair elixirs (specifically Smells Like Queen Spirit) are so refreshing and hydrating, and they smell absolutely incredible. I’m really interested in trying some of their masks and scrubs next – Pretty Sure I’m Gorgeous sounds really interesting since it’s a charcoal mask but is still hydrating, and the That Booty Tho scrub is exactly what I need to help repair stretch marks and cellulite (eek!).

What is your favorite indie beauty brand?
