My Everyday Accessories

When it comes to accessories, I like to have a few classic pieces that go with everything. I used to buy big statement pieces that were colorful and unique because I thought they looked fun, but over time I found that it was too difficult to actually style them without looking gaudy. Now I just have a handful of accessories that are my go-to pieces for everyday looks.

Daniel Wellington Watch

A Daniel Wellington watch was at the top of my wish list for the longest time. They’re such a chic accessory that will never go out of style, and they look perfect with every outfit. The people over at DW were kind enough to send me the Classic St Mawes Watch in Rose Gold* a couple years ago, and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with it ever since. If I had to choose only one accessory to wear for the rest of my life, it would be this watch.

Dainty Rings

I’m a really big fan of simple rings that can be worn alone or stacked together. Minimal and geometric rings in gold or rose gold tones have been catching my eye lately. Shops like ASOS and Forever 21 always have the cutest selection of rings and I’ve found quite a few favorites from both of them over the years.

Cat Eye Sunglasses

My staple accessory that I’m never caught without are a good pair of sunglasses. I’ve been really drawn to frames with a slight cat eye shape to them – I think they’re so cute and add a little retro flair without being too costume-y. These sunnies from ASOS (similar) were my go-to all summer, and I’ve got these gold metal cat eye sunglasses that are usually my staple pair for autumn and winter.

Simple Necklaces

I love a nice necklace that is simple and helps add a little something to the outfit rather than be the focal point of the entire look. Just like with rings, ASOS, H&M, and Forever 21 are usually the places I find most of my favorite necklaces lately. Right now, my favorite necklace to wear is a rose gold cross that my mom got me for Christmas last year. I’ve got my eye on this necklace from Alex Monroe as well, but it’s definitely more of a splurge item.
