Glossier’s UK Launch + My Recommendations

If you’ve been on social media, you’ve probably heard the exciting news regarding Glossier. If not, allow me to share it with you – on October 9th, Glossier is officially launching in the UK! I have so many UK readers that have been dying for Glossier to become available in their country, so I’m super excited to be able to share this news. Since I know so many of you will be doing some shopping this Monday, I thought it might be helpful to share my favorite products for you to consider. Also, be sure to check the end of this post for my Glossier link so you can get 20% off your first order!

Since Glossier is all about skincare first and makeup second, I thought it only fitting to do the same with this post. I’ve found so many new skincare favorites from this brand this year. The one that clearly stands out is the Milky Jelly Cleanser – I feel like this has quickly become a beauty blogger cult favorite, and after my first time trying it I could see why. This is an incredibly gentle yet effective cleanser, and melts off everything including dirt, sweat, and makeup. It’s actually become my favorite thing to use to remove my eye makeup, as it’s completely safe for contact lens wearers.

If you’re looking for masks, I highly recommend the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack for those with problematic skin, and the Moisturizing Moon Mask for those struggling with dryness. Both work beautifully while still being gentle, and your skin will feel so amazing after using either (or both – these are fantastic for multi-masking!). The final skincare offering from glossier that I always recommend to everybody is the Balm Dotcom. This balm is so hydrating and nourishing, and is a must have for the colder months. It comes in a variety of flavors and colors, ranging from something simple like the Original unscented balm to something fruity like Cherry or indulgent like Birthday (my personal favorite).

Glossier really kills it with their makeup, and if you’re a fan of simple beauty then you’re going to love this brand. My entire “no makeup” makeup routine actually consists of all Glossier, so let me walk you through what I do. I first use some of the Stretch Concealer in Light to even out my skin tone and cover up any imperfections. I’ve been obsessed with this concealer ever since I got it because it’s super hydrating and conceals really well without feeling like I’ve got anything on my skin. Next, I’ll brush some of the Boy Brow through my grows to fill them in and give them some shape. I used to be a huge fan of Benefit’s Gimme Brow, but the Glossier version has replaced it because it feels more natural, is more affordable, and is cruelty-free which is awesome! For a dewy glow, I apply Haloscope in Quartz to all of the high points of my face and then lightly blend it out with my ring fingers. This highlighter is the prettiest champagne shade that looks flattering on everybody, and it gives you such a natural, “lit from within” glow. If you’re interested in trying both the Boy Brow and Haloscope, Glossier now offers them in a duo for only $30, which also qualifies you for free shipping!

My last makeup recommendation is actually one of the first things I ever tried from Glossier – Generation G. These are subtle matte lipsticks that give your lips a stained look, almost like you’ve just eaten a popsicle. I’m such a huge fan of this lip look, and Generation G makes it so easy to achieve so naturally they’ve become some of my favorite lip products. The thing I really like is that they don’t feel super drying like other matte lipsticks I’ve tried. Instead, they almost have a balm-like feel to them without wiping off easily. If you’re not sure which shade to pick, I think Like is a great color to start with because it’s not too bold and pretty much looks amazing on everybody. Cake is also a great shade if you’re looking for something a little more subtle and natural.

When making your first purchase with Glossier, be sure to use my link so you get 20% off + free shipping on orders of $30 or more. I get a small commission when you shop using my link which really helps me out, plus you’ll get a discount so it’s a win-win for everybody!
