Mornings have a tendency to be a little rushed and chaotic. When I wake up, I immediately jump into work – checking emails and social media on my phone, writing my to-do list for the day, and getting ready to take blog photos or film a new video. This has become my morning routine, and while I love the burst of creative energy I get, I can feel a little stressful if I’m not careful. Something I’ve been trying to do lately is to start my morning beauty routine off with some positive thoughts. While I’m brushing my teeth and washing my face, I like to meditate on the following things…

  • It’s a brand new day, and anything is possible
  • My future is created by what I do today
  • I’m healthy, alive, and the sun is shining
  • I will see beautiful things today
  • Start the day with a grateful heart and a mindset of gratitude
  • Today, I will dedicate my time to hard work and good deeds
  • I will never have this day again, so I need to make it count
  • Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day
  • Focus on the good
  • I am thankful for a new day
  • Every morning has the chance for a new beginning
  • I am allowed to be happy today
  • Rise up and attack the day with enthusiasm
  • I have everything I need to accomplish my goals today
  • There’s yogurt and granola in the fridge for breakfast 😉
