Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Lotion: This is one of those things that I never intended on purchasing, but after stumbling upon it during a random trip to Walmart, I knew I had to have it. My skin has been doing fairly well in the moisture department, but it can always do with a little help. I found this in the beauty section at Walmart (I was actually looking at the EOS body lotions, but this one caught my eye). As soon as I tried it, I was instantly obsessed. It’s a light body lotion that melts right into the skin and instantly nourishes. The scent is incredible – a combination of lavender and chamomile, so it’s the perfect accompaniment for bed.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Seduce: This blush has been absolutely lovely, and I’m so glad I added it to my collection. I’ve had a lot of people mention how similar this looks to the shade “Exposed”, which is one I don’t have but have been wanting to try. After looking at swatches online for comparison, I think Seduce is a bit more pigmented and pinky than Exposed, but both are a really pretty neutral blush.
Maybelline FaceStudio Master Concealer in Fair: After sorting through my makeup stash a few weeks ago, I realized that I only had a few concealers to jump around to. Seeing as how I hadn’t bought a new concealer in awhile, I decided to pick up a few drugstore options that I’d had my eye on and this one ended up being the best out of the bunch. I’m honestly shocked by how pigmented this is. The quality is incredible, and it has the coverage of something you’d buy from NARS or Urban Decay. I also love that it comes in a shade light enough for my skin tone, without leaning too far pink or yellow.
John Freida Frizz Ease Dream Curls Curl-Perfecting Spray: My hair has a bit of a natural curl to it and it’s definitely become more defined now that I’ve cut so many layers into it. I wanted to start wearing it curly more often, so I decided to pick up a bottle of defining spray. I’ve used sprays like this in the past, but this one has definitely become my new favorite. I mist it throughout my hair when I get out of the shower, and it gives me big, bouncing curls that last all day long. There’s also no “crunchy” feeling, like most gels tend to have.
Lorac Alter Ego Lip Gloss in Vixen*: My final favorite is this gorgeous pink gloss from Lorac. I love wearing brighter lip colors because it’s summer, but hate anything heavy because it just feels like too much in the heat. This gloss was the perfect product because it offered a pop of color without being too bold, and didn’t feel sticky or goopy. I’m probably going to keep in my makeup bag for another whole month because I’m loving it so much.
