Since the eyes tend to show tiredness the most, they’re always the area I try to focus on perfecting the most. Concealing dark circles is super important in faking a wide awake look, so choose a concealer formulated specifically for just that. The Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer* from It Cosmetics is incredibly powerful at covering up dark circles and stays all day without sliding off. After blending that out under my eyes, I like using some of Pixi’s Eye Zone Brightener* to further brighten and “wake up” the complexion.
To really make your eyes look rested and awake, I have two tricks. First, use a light-reflecting champagne eyeshadow, like L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte, all over your lids. This helps add light to your eyes, giving your complexion more of a glow. Second, use a white or nude eyeliner to line your bottom waterline for eyes that appear bigger and brighter. My personal favorites are the NYX Wonder Pencil and Pixi’s Eye Bright Liner* – both work great and helping my eyes look more awake and rested.
