Beauty Tryouts #8

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. I’ve heard so many great things about this cleanser, and my skin has been a bit on the combination side so I’m thinking it will work well at keeping everything balanced. The Body Shop surprised me with their new Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream*, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to test it out. I keep seeing items from this collection popping up on my favorite blogs. Apparently this stuff is the bee’s knees, so keep an eye on my Instagram for an upcoming review.

Pixi has three beauty bits that I think you guys are going to be really interested in. Y’all know how much I love their Cat Eye Ink, so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out about their Lash Line Ink*. I’ve been looking for super thin liquid liner that gets right down to the lash line, and it sounds like this is going to do just the trick. One of their new products for summer is the Beauty Blush Duo + Kabuki in Peach Honey*. This looks absolutely gorgeous in person. I’m definitely ready to start wearing peachy blushes, and I think this is going to be really pretty for summer. Lastly, I’m giving their Tinted Brilliance Balm in Baby Bare* a go this month. I’ve actually tried a small sample of this ages ago and really liked it, so I’m glad I’ll get to give it a proper use this time around.

I’ve mentioned before that I love using products that help give my pout a bit of a plump, and after reading several reviews, it was a must that I pick up Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme-Plump Lipgloss. I’m a little nervous about my first time using this because I read a few reviews that said it can make your lips/tongue numb, but it’s supposed to work really well so we shall see. Rimmel’s Super Curler Mascara* landed on my doorstep a few days ago, so I’ll be popping it into my makeup bag for the month. I’m always on the lookout for mascaras that curl my lashes without me having to beforehand (because I always forget). Finger crossed this one gives good results!

Last, but certainly not least, is a new fragrance from my friends over at CLEAN. The CLEAN Reserve Rain Perfume* was inspired by the energy of a rainforest after a fresh storm. After spraying a bit into the lid (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this), I could tell this is going to be a lovely scent for summer. I’m all about fresh, clean scents for the warmer months. Anything that has to do with water, rain, or the ocean is right up my alley.

Which products will you be trying out this month?
