Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight*: To achieve effortlessly dewy skin (which has been my staple lately), I’ve been reaching for my beloved highlighting Chubby Stick. This has been a favorite of mine ever since trying it out last month, and I honestly cannot get enough of it. This is so super creamy, which makes application and blending a dream. Also, the sheen it gives your skin is to die for.
Essence I Love Extreme Waterproof Volume Mascara*: At the beginning of the month, I posted that I was going to try out the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara*. I wasn’t particularly impressed by it, but I got the chance to try out their I Love Extreme Mascara for my festival makeup look, and I’m so glad I did. It really is an extremist doesn’t mascara that gives you big, thick lashes. I can’t believe it only costs $5 and works so well – definitely one of those drugstore beauty gems.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Slate Grey*: Even though it’s called a pen, this is actually a super creamy eyeliner pencil. I’m absolutely in love with these because they apply without any tugging or pulling on your eye lids, so you’re able to get the perfect lines around your eyes. I’m also loving the slate grey color – it helps define your eyes but isn’t as intense as a true black, so you can get a really good smoky look with it.
Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Color in Caramel Infused: I haven’t quite gotten into bright lip colors for the season just yet. Instead, I’m celebrating the sunny weather with some rosey lips. This gloss is so perfect for everyday wear. It doesn’t make your lips feel goopy at all, and the color is the prettiest shade of blush. It’s one of those “your lips but better” shades that I’m becoming more in love with because they’re just so easy to wear.
Nikki Reed for Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado*: After hearing about this eye cream from nearly every beauty blogger ever, I decided to give it a try this month and OMG! I am so thrilled with this eye cream and how well it works. It’s a really rich cream that just melts into your skin, helping to nourish and refresh the under eye area. This has quickly become my favorite part of my skincare routine, and I love how healthy it’s made my eyes look. No more tired eyes for me!
Le Couvent Des Minimes Orange Blossom Petitgrain Hand Cream: My hand cream of choice this month has been this orange blossom offering from Le Couvent Des Minimes. I’m becoming more and more impressed with this brand, and have even gotten my mom hooked on their products. This hand cream is nourishing and gentle on the hands, which makes it perfect to toss into your handbag or backpack this season (plus, the scent is ideal for spring and summer).
