Polished + Put-Together

This post is sponsored by Target.

Target has recently released a new line of exclusive nail polishes called Defy & Inspire, which comes in 38 gorgeous shades with cute names like Rose Ceremony and Laguna Beach. The line was created to help people defy the ordinary and inspire others with their personal style, and I think these polishes do just that.

My wardrobe consists of mostly neutral colors like grey, black, and cream. Nail polishes give me a way to add fun pops of color to my looks without it being overpowering. With spring on the way, I wanted to start adding some pretty pastels to my style, so I picked up a few of my favorite shades from the new Defy & Inspire collectionParadise Island* is the perfect shade of mint, and Simple Life* is a gorgeous lilac pastel. I honestly couldn’t decide between the two, so I decided to do my own version of color-blocking and paint each hand with one color. For my toes, I went with a super girly candy-pink shade called Girls Tell All*. It’s such a cute color and is going to look amazing this summer with a tan.

Defy & Inspire nail polishes are incredibly high quality, and I’ve fallen for them quite quickly. The formula is very creamy and easy to apply, and the brush is incredible! It’s a flat brush that’s rounded at the end, so it’s extremely easy to paint your nails without getting it all over your cuticles. Also, it’s a long-wear polish that is very chip-resistant, which is super important to me because I’m always typing away at a keyboard.

If you get the chance, definitely check out these new nail polishes, sold exclusively at Target. They retail for $7.49 a bottle, and hold up to the highest quality of polishes on the market.

How are you staying polished and put-together this spring?
