DON’T APPLY MASCARA BEFORE IF YOU HAVE LONG LASHES
Contrary to what you may have been told, I personally hate applying mascara pre-lash with a burning passion. Reason being: I find that, as I have longer lashes, they just get in the way. If you have shorter or straighter lashes, you should use an eyelash curler and perhaps apply a little mascara to the base of the lash if you feel it’s necessary. Apply mascara after application to blend the lashes together and you’ll have the most beautiful lashes in the world – no one will suspect a thing.
GET A DAMN GOOD LASH GLUE
I actually can’t live without my DUO lash glue, I ran out a few weeks ago and tried using an Eyelure glue and it was just crap. DUO glue gets tacky super quickly, sticks the lash straight down and lasts comfortably all day.
USE TWEEZERS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
Tweezers for me are a must. I always use my tweezers to apply the centre of the lash first, then once positioned I stick down the inner and outer corner. The best thing to do though is to use your tweezers to squish your natural and false lashes together, this makes them look so natural – especially if you’re not wearing eyeliner.
IF ALL ELSE FAILS?
If all else fails, or you’re a little unsure on getting your falsies close to the lash line, whack on a liquid liner – it will literally never fail you. Apply before application and if need be, re-apply a layer after your lash glue has dried!
And voila! You have lashes that’ll stop traffic. Below you can see I’ve used these lashes without eyeliner and they’re super close to the lash line and are so comfortable.
