SHARE UNIQUE CONTENT
We’ve all heard about how quality content is king, but I’d like to take this one step further. Not only should your content be high quality, but I believe it also needs to be unique in order to thrive. There are so many bloggers now, which means creating content that hasn’t been done before is even harder. my fix for this? Find ways to create content that may or may not have already been shared before in new, exciting ways. Everybody and their moms have shared their skincare routines – maybe you can create a skincare routine for a certain skin type using products you already have and share how each product will help those particular skin concerns. See what I mean? You might have a post idea that has been done before, but you can use it as a foundation to create content that’s a little different from what’s already out there.
DEFINE YOUR BLOGGING “VOICE”
This final piece of advice might work better for some bloggers rather than others, but I think it’s a good thing to consider. Your blogging “voice” is the way you come across in your content. It’s your personality, and the life you bring to the words you’re sharing. Are you funny? Sassy? Scholarly? Perhaps a bit sarcastic at times? Some bloggers have a way of getting their personalities across so well through their writing, and it can be one of the main reasons why people love to read their blogs so much.
How do you make your posts stand out from all the rest?
