What You’ll Need
- Organic Rosewater (I bought this one from Amazon)
- Pure Aloe Vera Gel
- Natural Witch Hazel (You can get unscented or choose one that has extracts in it – my favorites are Lavender, Rose Petal, and Cucumber)
- Travel-size Spray Bottle
How To Make
Fill a clean spray bottle half-way with rosewater, then fill half of the remaining bottle with aloe vera gel and half with witch hazel. I used a 6 oz bottle, so the breakdown of ingredients was roughly 3 oz rosewater, 1.5 oz aloe vera, and 1.5 oz witch hazel. After that just screw on the lid, shake it up, and spray! Hardly any work and you have yourself a refreshing mist to help moisturize and sooth your face.
There are endless options when creating your own facial mist. You can add in any combination of waters and essential oils for your specific skin concerns. For example, rosewater is very soothing and calming for the skin, witch hazel helps tone, and aloe vera adds natural hydration.
Will you try making your own face mist?
