Creating A Morning Ritual To Help Tackle The Day

Sleep Cycle as my morning alarm – it monitors your sleep and knows exactly when to wake you up so that it’s really natural and not startling at all. Once I’m awake, I like to check up on all of my social media and respond to any urgent questions/emails. Scrolling through Instagram is pretty much my favorite thing to do while I’m waking up and becoming alert enough to tackle the day.

After I’ve hit up the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth, I like to sit down at my desk for a few minutes to write up a to-do list and fill in my planner for my day. I think this is such an important part of my morning because it helps me get focused and know exactly when needs to be done. Once I know what’s on my to-do list, then I can kind of plan out my day and come up with a productive game plan.

With my to-do list thought out and written down, I move on to completing my daily Bible study and devotional. This is also the perfect time to do a little meditating and focusing on positivity so that the day can be centered around good things. After I’m done with that, I like to end my little morning ritual with some light stretching (and popping of all of my joints because I’m weird like that).
