Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser (if you haven’t seen it yet, I reviewed it here), but I had to include it again in this roundup because it is such a lovely cleanser. The scent is so fantastic first thing in the morning when you’re washing your face and trying to wake up.
A killer new brand called Anese reached out to me about their Hydrating Body And Hair Elixirs, and I’ve quickly become attached to Smells Like Queen Spirit* (an orange blossom and vanilla scent). I seriously spray this on me every day. It’s such a light, creamy orange fragrance that I can just not get enough of. I’m beyond impressed with this brand – they only use all-natural ingredients, their brand design is on point, and their products have cheeks names like F*ck Bad Vibes and Bless This Mess (which includes real Holy Water…I’m dying!). If you’re interested in checking out their products, they created a special coupon code just for you guys: mandyanese gets you $5 off your order!
I finally got around to trying Soap & Glory’s Orangeasm Body Wash (again with the cheeky names, haha). For some reason, I’ve never been able to find this in stores here in the US, but finally found it online and have been using it for the past month. It’s such a interesting scent – citrus and clean, yet not too fruity. So far, S&G is really killing it with the bath products!
If you’ve been reading my blog awhile, you’ll know that I’m a bit obsessed with hand creams. I’ve got two that I’ve been using on-the-go lately, and (surprise, surprise) they’re both orange-scented. The first is Lush’s Celebrate Hand and Body Lotion, which is a super nourishing and creamy treat for the hands that smells of citrus and champagne. The second is the Le Couvent Des Minimes Orange Blossom Hand Cream. This is such a nice, light cream for everyday use, plus it has the nicest floral/fruity scent.
My final little orange favorite is the Foxbrim Orange Blossom Water Toner*. I’m very picky when it comes to toners. I don’t like using anything that makes my skin burn or feel tight, which is why I usually use fairly natural products as toners because they tend to be more gentle. This orange blossom water has been exactly that. It’s working quite nicely with my skin, and my face feels so clean and fresh after using it.
