The Makeup Edit #3

last month’s roundup, like the Lorac Pro + Fiber Mascara*, and Pixi’s Cat Eye Ink* and Endless Brow Gel Pen*. I really liked my everyday makeup for October, so I didn’t want to switch it up too much. I did throw a few new products into the mix though, including the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. So many of you had good things to say about it, so I knew I had to add it to my collection ASAP. I’ve been using it all this month, and yep, you guys were spot on. I’m really enjoying this foundation! I love the amount of coverage it gives without feeling heavy or cakey on my skin – definitely perfect for the season.

I’ve been loving the whole neutral cheek look, so I’ve been using the Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love. The shade of this blush is absolutely gorgeous – a light, dusty nude that gives your cheeks very flattering definition. After applying this, I’ve been dusting on some of the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle on the tops of my cheekbones. This is the highlighting product of all highlighting products. It’s what I grab every time I want my skin to look glowy and fresh. To apply both of these, I’ve been using the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush*. Now, I know this is supposed to be for applying your base products, but it just works so well for powder blushes and highlighters, especially when on the go and you don’t want to carry a ton of brushes.

Eyes + Lips

Eyes pretty muted stayed the same for November, but I switched out last month’s champagne shadow for a new one – L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte*. This is a gorgeous champagne color – really pearly and shimmery, almost like a metallic but without being harsh. I think this looks so good paired with a cat eye and a red lip (hello holiday season!). For an everyday lip color, I’ve been using the NARS Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight. I recently picked this up after seeing a picture of Kim Kardashian wearing it and I’m so glad I did. It’s such a gorgeous milky pink color that is perfect for daytime and has a nice way of making your lips look a bit pouty.

What’s been floating around your makeup bag lately?
