Philip B Katira Hair Masque*, and I’m loving the results so far. It’s a gel formula that you work through your hair like a conditioner, and once it dries you rinse it out to reveal silky soft hair. I’ve been dealing with dry, coarse hair lately, especially around the crown area, so this has been a nice treat.
Next I move on to my face, which is most likely in need of hydration and nourishment at the end of a long week. Since I’ve got skin that is both sensitive and dry, I like using a product that will help soothe the skin while also giving it a good dose of moisture. First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask* has been exactly what my skin’s been in need of – it works wonders at calming any redness on my face as well leaving my skin soft and supple.
Now that it’s beginning to get colder out, my skin is rebelling with excessive dryness. To combat it, I’ve begun to swap out my lotions for thicker body butters. The Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter* has been a new addition to my collection, and I’m happy to say that it works just as well as their creamy organ oil that I’ve been in love with. This is a really nice body butter that isn’t too heavy and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy, plus it has a light aroma that is extremely pleasant.
The final step to my head-to-toe pamper routine is to slather my feet in a thick moisturizer and then put on big comfy socks. This allows the moisturizer to completely absorb into the skin, and I wake up in the morning with the softest feet ever. For a moisturizer, I usually just grab whatever body butter from The Body Shop I’m currently loving. Right now, that would be the Vitamin E cream – it’s such an intense boost of hydration, which is exactly what my feet need in the cold weather.
Have you ever tried a full body pamper session?
