5 Autumn Eyeshadow Picks

5 Autumn Eyeshadow Picks | A Girl, Obsessed

Cherry Cordial, Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette – This shade is a gorgeous chocolate cherry brown with a bit of shimmer. I don’t consider it a full on metallic like a few of the others mentioned here, but it does have some sparkles in it that help flatter the eye. This is a great shade for defining the outer corners or for a fall smoky look.

Pistol, Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette – Pistol is just the prettiest chrome shadow I’ve ever seen. It’s got more depth than a plain silver shadow, and the metallic sheen is subtle and not gaudy. Definitely a wearable color for everyday.

L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Amber Rush – This is the shade that, a year ago, I absolutely hated – not because of the color, but because I had no clue how to actually get the color to show up on my eyes. Tip for anyone buying these: forego brushes and use your fingers instead to get the fullest, prettiest rose gold eyeshadow you’ve every seen.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather in Vintage Plum – Though I’m not a fan of the texture of this particular Color Tattoo (it’s a bit dry and hard to blend, though the other Leathers I’ve tried worked just fine), I am a huge fan of the taupe plum shade. It’s something I like to reach for when I’m in a bit of a rush and just want a kind of messy, “street style” makeup look.

Pewter, Lorac Pocket Pro Palette – Pewter is one of my absolute favorite shades ever! If copper and chrome had a baby, it would be this shadow. It’s a metallic that ends up looking different in various forms of lighting – sometimes it looks more taupe-y, other times it appears to have a bit of a mauve-like undertone to it. Basically, this shadow is everything.

What are your favorite eyeshadows for autumn?
