InBeauty, The Makeup Edit

The Makeup Edit #1

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory ($12.99) has been my go-to. It’s a full coverage foundation that is pretty effortless to apply and blend out, and gives you the perfect flawless base to work with. Once I’ve applied that I’ll pop a little bit of MAC’s Blushbaby ($22) onto the apples of my cheeks to give some color to my face. This is currently my favorite blush for fall – it’s a brown-toned mauve color that looks really natural and suits this season well.

To prep my eyes, I’m sticking with my favorite Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($20) – a longtime favorite for helping my eye makeup look vibrant, stay in place, and not crease. Over top of that, I use Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze ($6.99) to create a daytime-appropriate smoky look. Then to finish off my eyes, I use the NYX Retractable Eyeliner in Black ($4.49) to line both the waterline/tightline and outer corners, and then a few coats of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Black Pearl ($8.99), which has quickly become one of my new favorite drugstore mascaras.

Brows + Lips

For my everyday makeup, I like my brows to be a little more on the natural side, so for that I use the Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep ($24). This is such an effortless product that really does everything I need in just a few swipes – fills in, shapes, and holds everything in place. As the final step for my look, I’ll swipe on some of the MAC Lipstick in Plumful ($17). This is my perfect fall plum lipstick – it’s sheer so it’s more like a plum-tinted balm that feels super hydrating on the lips and the color is just gorgeous.
