Tatcha Pure Camellia Cleansing Oil*. This oil is extremely nourishing to the skin, and offers a nice boost of hydration while melting off all makeup and really giving the skin a good cleanse. I haven’t had much experience with oil cleansers yet, but as a sufferer of dry skin, I have to say they’re kind of the best. After rinsing it off, my skin feel supple and nourished without any greasy residue.
With my skin clean, it’s time for a mask. The one I’ve been reaching for lately is the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask* – it’s a frothy mask that helps detoxify the skin (and supposedly releases oxygen molecules into your pores – whether or not this is true, I don’t know, but it does feel really cool when you apply it). This has been such a huge help for when my skin is super dull and lackluster, and after rinsing it off, my face feels more firm and youthful.
As a final step, I like to apply a really rich moisturizer like the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil. If I don’t stay on top of my moisture routine, my face will suffer from some vicious dry patches and can get pretty flaky (eek!). This moisturizer is super rich and creamy, and even though it’s technically an oil it never leaves my skin feeling greasy. I also love how versatile this product is and that I’m able to use it for my lips and cuticles as well.
