6 Skincare Brands That I’m Loving

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel ($26) so I decided to give it a shot and I’ve always been glad that I made that decision. Everything about Clinique, from their packaging to the actual product itself, is always so high quality, effective, and worth every penny. I’m thinking about trying their Clarifying Lotion 1 or the Moisture Surge Face Spray next because I’ve heard great things about each.

Mario Badescu

I remember seeing the Mario Badescu range at Ulta one day and trying out a few of the products, and I’ve been a super fan ever since. This is a good mid-range skincare brand, with higher quality products for fairly decent prices. Their products work extremely well, and I like that they include items that are really unique, like their Silver Powder and Drying Cream. A few of my favorites from this brand include the Facial Spray with Rosewater ($7), the Special Cucumber Lotion ($15), and the Seaweed Cleansing Soap ($14).

First Aid Beauty

I tried this brand after hearing about it several times from Ingrid – it was a brand that she always highly reviewed, so I figured it had to be worth trying. I gave both the Face Cleanser ($20) and the Ultra Repair Cream ($12) a shot, and really liked them. They’re both very straightforward products that get the job done and do as advertised. This brand is on the top of my list right now, and I’m really interested in trying more from them, especially their Eye Duty Triple Remedy Cream.

The Body Shop

The Body Shop usually gets their praises for more body-related products, but they actually have a fantastic range of skincare items as well. Their entire Vitamin E collection is an absolute dream for us dry skinned gals, as well as the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter ($16). I really like their Tea Tree Oil ($10) for clearing up the odd breakout, and the Aqua Boost Sorbet ($23) is a fantastic summer moisturizer – light and cooling to the skin. I really love how much variety The Body Shop offers, which makes it so easy to find a product that works for your specific skin type/concern.

Josie Maran

This is a brand that I’ve only barely tried, but I’m already head over heels for. The Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil ($28) was a total lifesaver for my dry skin last winter. It quickly healed my annoying dry patches and helped restore some of the moisture that the cold winter weather was stealing from it. Perhaps the reason why I’m so on board with this brand is because nearly everything is made with argan oil, and you guys know how much of a sucker I am for the stuff. Next on my list of “to try” from Josie Maran is the Pure Argan Milk Treatment and the Argan Cleansing Oil.

Oh Bliss, my newfound love. This is a brand I had been eager to try for a long time, and was luck enough to test out last month. I’ve quickly become a fan, and am so impressed with the quality of their products. I’ve been using the Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk* ($28) to wash my face daily and it has been working wonders for my skin, as has the Ex-‘glow’-sion Vitabead-Infused Moisture Cream* ($64) – which is my new favorite night cream. This brand kicks butt in the quality department, and you really get so much bang for your buck.
