Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner ($7.99) – This is not only an amazing liquid liner for summer, but it’s also my favorite to use all year. This is the best liquid liner that I’ve ever used – it’s highly pigmented, extremely easy to use, and stays on in any kind of weather without smudging at all. The felt tip makes creating winged and cat eye looks super easy, as well as creating thick or thin lines, depending on the look you’re going for.
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Elusive ($9.49) – I love a good matte lip for summer, but the trick is finding a matte lipstick that doesn’t make your lip all dry and cracked. The Revlon Matte Balms are absolutely wonderful for warm weather because they’re matte yet super creamy, so they don’t dry out your lips at all. Also, they’re really easy to apply because they’re in crayon form. Elusive is my favorite color – it’s a pretty muted pink with some warmer tones, perfect for summer!
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze ($6.99) – I’ve gone on and on about these little miracle pots, and for good reason. There’s nothing these can’t do! I have slightly oily eyelids, but in the summer I really don’t feel like dealing with eye primers and layering eyeshadows. These cream shadows go on easily with just a swipe across the lids, and stay on all day without melting, smudging, or creasing. I love Bad To The Bronze because it just creates the prettiest sun-kissed bronzy look.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer ($7.99) – Since I’m usually wearing super light, barely there makeup in the summer, I like to opt for a concealer that both covers up and brightens. The Dream Lumi Concealers from Maybelline are one of my top picks because they’re very light on the skin but still powerful enough to cover any blemishes or dark circles. They can crease a little under the eyes, but I just dust some of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder on top to set it and it stays perfect all day. I really like how brightening this concealer is, it makes my skin look so much more vibrant and alive.
e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit ($3) – This little kit is a total rockstar! For the quality of the product and the packaging, I can’t believe it’s only $3. I really like this brow kit for summer because you shape and fill in your brows with the tinted wax, and then you set everything with the brow powder, assuring that your brows don’t smudge or melt off in the heat. The kit comes with a little double-ended brush (one side angled for shaping and the other side fluffy for blending), and though I usually toss out the generic brushes that come with drugstore makeup, I actually quite like this brush for applying the product.
