Maybelline BB Cream in Light ($8.99) to help even out my skin tone and cover up any redness. Then I pop some of the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Ivory ($7.99) onto my dark circles and any spots that weren’t covered by the BB cream. After a light dusting of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ($4.99) to set my concealer and keep me looking matte for hours, I use The Body Shop’s Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in Fair Matte ($20) to add some warmth and depth to my complexion.
Next, I work on my eye area. I start with my brows, and help shape and fill them in with Benefit’s Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep ($24). For a quick and easy neutral eye, I just swipe some of the Maybelline Leather Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige ($6.99) onto my lids and blend it out for a really effortless look. I then create a slight cat eye with the Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner in Blackest Black ($7.99), line my waterline with the NYX Wonder Pencil in Light ($4.49) to make my eyes look more open and awake, and brush on a few coats of the CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara in Very Black ($7.99).
As my final few steps, I pop some of the Stila Color Convertible in Lilium ($25) onto my cheeks and blend it out for a natural looking flush (I sometimes use this as a quick lip color as well). Lastly, I apply some of the NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée ($4.99) to my lips and then highlight my cupid’s bow with a little bit the Wonder Pencil that I used earlier. And that’s about it! My usual everyday makeup routine for the summer, give or take a lip color or two.
