When summertime hits, I like reaching for foods that are cool and refreshing. Nothing is better than a cold salad filled with delicious fruits and vegetables. It can be easy to fall into a “food rut” though and make the same thing over and over, so here are 20 different summer salad ideas.

Summer Salad Recipes

  1. Spinach + Green Apple + Avocado
  2. Kale + Chicken + Cherries
  3. Spinach + Strawberries + Slivered Almonds
  4. Tomato + Zucchini + Mushroom + Onion (great with balsamic)
  5. Cucumber + Onion + Dill
  6. Fresh Peas + Crumbled Cheddar + Onions (great with a light sour cream dressing)
  7. Broccoli + Shredded Cheese + Onion + Crumbled Bacon (make a light dressing of mayonnaise, white vinegar, and a little bit of stevia – it’s so good!)
  8. Cucumber + Tomato + Mozzarella
  9. Coleslaw Mix + Mandarin Oranges + Edamame
  10. Cucumber + Feta + Onion + Olives
  11. Romaine + Chicken + Fresh Parmesan + Onions (great with a light drizzle of caesar dressing)
  12. Kale + Strawberries + Sliced Grapes
  13. Chopped Greens + Black Beans + Fresh Corn + Avocado
  14. Spinach + Baby Tomatoes + Crumbled Cheese + Sunflower Seeds (this one is delicious with ranch)
  15. Spinach + Sliced Apple + Dried Cranberries + Chopped Walnuts
  16. Kale + Chicken + Mango + Strawberries
  17. Spinach + Strawberries + Blueberries + Red Onion + Pecans
  18. Spinach + Fresh Mozzarella + Tomato + Roasted Garlic
  19. Chopped Greens + Crumbled Bacon + Baby Tomatoes
  20. Sliced Bananas + Mandarin Oranges + Red Grapes + Light Cool Whip (the tastiest desert salad!)
