Let’s start off with the makeup, since that what most of this wish list is made up of. I’m loving all of the shades of pink, peach, and coral that are starting to pop up again. Just another reason why I love this season so much, it understands my love of pink. 🙂 Clinique is absolutely killing me with the new products and shades they’ve released. They recently came out with a whole new collection of lipsticks, and I’m loving the look of the Clinique Pop Lip Color in Sweet Pop ($18). They’ve also released new shades for their Cheek Pop Blushes ($21), and Melon Pop has caught my eye. It kind of looks perfect.
Guess who’s been window shopping again? ^_^ Spring is one of my favorite seasons for beauty products. Pastels are in season, skincare becomes lighter, and everything just has a nice, fresh feel to it. This is also a season when beauty brands release a bunch of new products and collections, so today I thought I’d share what’s on my wish list for Spring.
While on the topic of cheek products, I have to mention how badly I’m wanting the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette ($58). It’s pretty pricey, but I keep hearing so many amazing things about these powders that I’m fairly convinced it’d be worth every penny. Another product that I’ve been hearing very good things about is Benefit’s newest mascara, Roller Lash ($24). From what I’ve heard/read, it does a fantastic job at curling your lashes which sounds great to me because I tend to forget to curl my lashes before applying mascara. ^_^
Since we’re not entirely out of the cold weather yet, I’ve been opting for tinted lip balms most days. They’re such an easy option for daily wear, and I really like the look of a soft wash of color. I saw that Korres recently came out with Mandarin Lip Butter Sticks ($16.50) in a few different shades, and really like the look of the Peach tint. I find that peach shades are really easy to pull off, and they looks great on every skin tone. Plus, how cute is that packaging?
A few more products that I’m wanting to try… The new Caudalie Moisturizing Mask ($39) for my always-dry skin, Drybar’s Hot Toddy Heat Protector ($30) to help keep my hair healthy and frizz-free, and the new Nails Inc Gel Effect Nail Polish in Mayfair Lane ($15) – it looks like such a gorgeous nude pink!
Have you tried any of these out yet? What’s currently on your beauty wish list?
