My Most Used Beauty Tools

My Most Used Beauty Tools | A Girl, ObsessedReal Techniques brand. I use their brushes every time I apply my makeup (no, I’m not sponsored by Sam or Nic, haha). I own several of the brushes from this brand, but the ones I use the most are the Expert Face Brush ($8.99) for liquid foundations and contouring, the Blush Brush ($8.99) which is pretty self-explanatory, the Setting Brush ($7.99) to set liquid concealers and foundations, and the Shading Brush ($5.99) for creating the perfect eye look. I really can’t imagine doing my makeup without these brushes, they’re definitely must-haves.

Another brush I use a lot is the Airbrush Foundation Kabuki Brush ($24), which is part of the IT Brushes For Ulta collection. Thought technically for foundation, I’ve been keeping it in my makeup bag and using it to apply my blush and bronzer on-the-go. The quality of this brush is very high, the bristles are dense but super soft, and it’s compact size makes it perfect for travel. If you haven’t seen the IT Brushes yet, I highly suggest visiting your nearest Ulta and checking out how luxurious they are.

Besides brushes, there are two other beauty tools that I use regularly – a beauty blender/sponge and eyelash curlers. The sponge I’m currently using is Ulta Super Blender Sponge ($4.99) and it does the job fairly well, but I’m probably going to switch to the Real Techniques sponge instead because the reviews are so good. As for my eyelash curler, I’ve just been using a simple Revlon Lash Curler ($6.37). I’m sure there are better curlers out there, I’m just too lazy to try them all out so feel free to recommend some different ones for me to try.
