MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle ($32) then I’m sure you agree. I got this bad boy a couple months ago, and fell in love with it fast.
Creme Cup in the mail and am in heaven). I kept seeing nearly every beauty blogger talk about this highlighting powder and figured it would be a good starting purchase for MAC. Boy am I glad I listened to the beauty community. 🙂
To start off with, I have to talk about how delicious the quality is. This is such a creamy powder – it really reminds me of the NARS eyeshadows in terms of texture. Since it’s so creamy, S&G is super blendable and creates the prettiest sheen. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t contain big chunks of glitter. Instead, it’s lightly shimmery and reflects light beautifully, so you’re able to create the most amazing dewy glow. MAC describes this shade as a “gilded peach bronze”, but I feel like that description might make people think it’s more bronzy than it really is. In my opinion, this leans more towards a lighter peach shade – something that is more natural than noticeable, which I love because it gives the impression that you naturally have a dewy complexion (and with my dry skin, I need as much dewy as possible ^_^).
At $32, it is a little pricier than what I’d like pay for a highlighter, but the quality is just fabulous and from what I’ve read on other beauty blogs, it’s a product that will last for ages. So, I think it’s a pretty fantastic investment.
