Beauty Blogger-inspired Purchases

Beauty Blogger-inspired Purchases | A Girl, ObsessedEssiebutton – her mentions of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty ($26) and the Revlon Lip Gloss in Berry Allure ($7.99) had me adding them to my wishlist immediately, and it wasn’t long after finding out about these two products that I ended up adding them to my collection. The Tarte blush is absolutely beautiful on, not at all what you’d expect from the bright color in the pan – it quickly became one of my favorite blushes for winter. The lip gloss is a completely wearable berry shade that I am in love with. I know “berries” are usually worn in fall/winter, but I’ve been sporting this shade year round.
Next up is the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle ($32), a product I knew I had to have after seeing it on From Roses and Ghostparties (and a million other beauty blogs, haha). This is the best highlighter I’ve ever tried, and I can see why so many bloggers lose it over this stuff. It’s my go-to item for adding a dewy glow to my skin, and the incredible quality has me itching to try the MAC MSF Natural.
The Rimmel London Lip Liner in Eastend Snob ($5.99) first popped up in my Pinterest feed, which then led me to Amelia’s blog, and I knew this was definitely a product to check out after seeing her photos and swatches. I wrote a little more in-depth about this lip liner here, but to sum it up quickly – this is a great drugstore find, and it’s perfect for creating that full, pouty, Kylie Jenner-esque neutral lip.
The last product I have to mention is the first legit makeup item I ever owned – the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette ($54). This isn’t an item I technically bought (it was actually a Christmas present from my wonderful mom), but I had it on my Christmas list because I had seen it on practically every beauty blog ever. ^_^ This palette created a turning point in my relationship with makeup – I started learning new techniques and trying new looks because I had such a great array of colors, and I fully believe it’s what inspired my newfound obsession with neutrals.

Have you made any makeup purchases inspired by bloggers or youtubers? Who are the beauty bloggers you look to for advice on products?
