March 2015 Beauty Favorites

March 2015 Beauty Favorites | A Girl, Obsessed
Can you believe a whole month has gone by already? I feel like I was just sharing my February favorites, and now it’s time for March. I have a mostly-makeup roundup to share with you guys today, so let’s waste no time and jump right in.

March 2015 Beauty Favorites | A Girl, ObsessedLORAC Pocket Pro ($15) and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige ($6.99). Both are great for travel, offer lovely color, and are practically fool-proof. My go-to lately has been a wash of Creamy Beige over the lids and a few coats of mascara.
Speaking of mascara, a new one that I’ve become a big fan of is the Cover Girl Full Lash Bloom Mascara in Very Black ($7.99). When I first tried this mascara earlier in the month, I did not like it at all. I didn’t feel like it made my lashes very “full”, in fact it didn’t seem like it made much of a difference at all. I used it a few more times though, and found that after 2-3 coats it did make my lashes look fuller, in a soft, natural way. My lashes didn’t look spidery or obvious, instead they looked like lashes I had grown myself. This definitely isn’t a statement mascara for big, dramatic lashes, but it’s been my favorite to use when going for an effortless, natural look.
Spring is here, which has me absolutely over the moon. I’ve started digging through my spring scents, and I’ve rediscovered my love for Daisy by Marc Jacobs ($76). This scent is just heavenly – light and airy bits of floral, perfectly playful for daytime. Wearing this perfume always makes me think of breezy days out in the sun and spring flowers blooming. Perfection.
Since the arrival of Spring, moisture has started to reappear in the air and my skin has become less dry as of late. Thankfully I’ve been able to switch to lighter moisturizing options for my lips and hands. The L’Oreal Color Riche Lip Balm in Pink Satin ($7.99) is what I’ve been reaching for lately for a dose of hydration and a subtle wash of color. I really like these tinted balms because they no fuss and light, while still offering a good amount of moisture. For my hands, I’ve finally switched back to the Almond Hand & Nail Cream ($20). I was fairly obsessed with this stuff last year, and guess what? The obsession is back. This is my second tube of this hand cream, and I’ll probably have to buy a third before summer is over because I use it so much. Seriously, it’s worked wonders for my hands. I can’t go a day without applying it at least twice.

That’s about it for my March favorites. What products have you been loving this month?
