Cover Girl TruBlend foundation in Classic Ivory ($9.99) and the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Ivory ($7.99). The foundation already made it’s way into my monthly favorites roundup for February, and the amount of amazing things I’ve heard about the Lumi concealer was so insane that I couldn’t not try it for myself. I also decided to grab something by Physicians Formula because I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a long time (again, I’ve heard some pretty great things about their products). I’ve always loved the look and packaging of their face powders, so I ended up getting the Nude Wear Over Glow Palette in Light ($14.99). It’s supposed to be a rather versatile product, working as either a blush, bronzer, or highlighting powder. I’m probably just going to swirl all of the colors together for a glowy blush.
The girls over at Eleventh Gorgeous highly recommended the Cover Girl Full Lash Bloom Mascara ($7.99), so I decided to pick one up since it claims to create “soft, full lashes that are never stiff or brittle” and also because my tube of The Rocket Mascara recently dried out. And then lastly, I picked up two products that I already own, but this time in new colors – Maybelline’s Color Tattoo Leather in Creamy Beige ($6.99 – a recommendation from the lovely Estée) and Maybelline’s The Buffs Lipstick in Nude Lust ($7.49). I’m already a big fan of both of these items and am excited to have these two colors in my collection. Nothing like a good neutral nude for everyday wear.
