Benefit’s The POREfessional ($31). What can I say about this product that hundreds of beauty bloggers before me have not said? It’s a fantastic primer that keeps your makeup in place all day and does a fantastic job at blurring your pores and imperfections – I like to think of it as photoshop in a tube. 😉
Next I apply some of the L’Oreal True Match Foundation in shade Light Ivory W2 ($9.99) using a slightly damp beauty blender. This has been one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve found, and using it paired with a beauty blender gives such flawless coverage. For any major spots or dark circles, I pop on some of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly ($29) and gently blend it out with my ring finger. Y’all know how in love I am with this concealer, I think I mention it in almost every makeup post. ^_^
Now it’s time to add a bit of a glow! First, I use Benefit’s Watt’s Up ($30) to highlight the tops of my cheekbones and the middle of my face (forehead, bridge of nose, cupid’s bow, and chin). I’ve been a big fan of this highlighter since last year. I like that it’s subtle but can easily be built up, plus it’s a bit creamy so it blends well. Over Watt’s Up, I dust on some of The Body Shop’s Shimmer Bauble (it looks like this is discontinued, but they have Brush On Radiance which looks really similar). The powder that comes from these little beads is very fine and shimmery, creating the perfect glow.
