First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser. This is a cleanser that I’ve really been enjoying. It gets my skin really clean without drying it out, and it’s safe for sensitive skin. The only thing I’m not too keen on is the scent, but it’s not too bad. After cleansing, I spritz some of the Mario Badescu Facial Spray all over my face and neck. This spray includes aloe, herbs, and rose water, and it really wakes my skin up in the morning and makes it feel hydrated and supple. I like to let this soak into my skin fully before applying anything else.
Once the facial spray is absorbed, I apply some of Benefit’s It’s Potent Eye Cream underneath both eyes (using my ring fingers and a gentle dabbing motion). I’m a big fan of this eye cream – it depuffs, hydrates, and helps brighten my dark circles and make them easier to conceal. After that, I apply my new favorite daytime moisturizer, The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet. This product is absolutely everything, and is unlike any moisturizer I’ve ever used. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, isn’t greasy, has an amazing cooling effect (not tingly or minty, just beautifully cooling like cold water on your face), smells amazing, and makes your skin incredibly hydrated and soft. I’m loving this as my daily moisturizer, I’ve only been using it for a week or two and have already noticed a difference in my skin. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but a little bit goes a long way. Basically, I’m in love. ^_^
Lastly, I’ll swipe on some of the Fresh Sugar lip balm in Rose – I’ve found that this is super hydrating and adds a natural wash of color, so it’s perfect for days when I’m wearing minimal makeup or none at all. I’m a bit obsessed with the Fresh Sugar balms right now, and would like to eventually add another color to my collection. What do you guys think – Honey, Petal, or Plum?
And that’s about it! A super hydrating, yet lightweight morning skincare routine that has been saving my face throughout winter. I’d love to know what products you guys are using and loving, let me know in the comments!
