Let me introduce you to the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette…
“a deeper, warmer version of the original coveted palette. Infused with the scent of sweet chocolate, this collection features 16 antioxidant-rich, cocoa powder-infused shadows in matte and shimmer shades with warm caramels, deep mochas, bronzy chocolate, and vibrant sugared blueberry hues. These rich, high-pigment shades are perfect for any season, and it includes a signature how-to Glamour Guide to help you get started with three eye looks.”
The palette, just like the original, comes in a metal “chocolate bar” case. The case has a built-in mirror that works pretty well for applying your makeup, so this palette would be great for travel or keeping in your makeup bag.
the original“, but I honestly think it has a good mix of both warm and cool shades. There are some beautiful golds and caramels, along with really pretty taupes and cool-toned chocolates. There’s even a blue shadow that’s to die for! The one thing I noticed right away was how creamy and blendable these shadows are – they’re seriously the creamiest pressed powders I’ve ever worked with.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a chocolate bar palette if it didn’t smell like chocolate. And boy does it ever! As soon as you open the metal case, you’re greeted with the yummiest scent of cocoa (thanks to the shadows being infused with cocoa powder) …it’s the nicest little treat while putting on your makeup. This palette is also cruelty-free and made without paragons, sulfates, and phthalates.
The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette retails for $49 and will be available 12/26/14, or you can purchase it right now from Sephora if you’re a VIB member (that’s what I did).
Do you think you’ll be adding this palette to your collection when it debuts?
