Lush Lip Scrubs || Review

LUSH Sugar Lip Scrubs Review | Mandy Leigh Blog

I don’t know about y’all, but in the winter my lips get extremely dry and chapped. If I forget to use lip balm for even one day, they’ll start to peel and crack…Ew. No. Gross. So, to combat icky dry lips, I’ve been using lip scrubs from Lush (along with a good lip balm) and they’re working wonders. My lips are in the best shape they’ve ever been in, almost like it’s not even winter at all!

LUSH Popcorn and Bubblegum Lip Scrubs | Mandy Leigh Blog

The two scrubs I’ve been using are the Popcorn and Bubblegum scrubs, and they’re both fantastic! As you can probably tell from the picture above, I like the bubblegum scrub a tad bit more than the popcorn (but they’re both lovely). Bubblegum smells just like pink gum and sugar and cotton candy, and tastes so sweet. Popcorn smells lightly buttery and sweet, and has a slight salty-sweet taste. Yum! They also come in Mint Julips (minty sweet flavor), and Santa’s (cola flavor), which is a new one for the Christmas season. ^_^

These are both sugar scrubs and are made with natural ingredients. They’re literally good enough to eat and most girls just lick it off their lips when they’re done…personally I think that’s kind of gross because you’re also licking off all of the dead skin, but to each their own.

I usually use a bit of either scrub during my morning or night skincare routine. I’ll wash my face and then scrub my lips and rinse them off before applying any toner or moisturizer. I really like how a little goes a long way with these – I’ve been using them for several months and I’ve barely made much of a dent in either. So, they may be a tad pricey but definitely worth the cost seeing as they work so well and last a long time.

Have you tried any lip scrubs from Lush? Which flavor is your favorite?
