Everybody knows that fall and winter are the seasons where our skin gets the driest, and one thing I hate most is dry hands. Drives me crazy! So, over the years I’ve tried my fair share of hand creams and lotions, and I’ve found some that are real keepers.
French Lavender & Honey Shea Hand Cream This hand cream from Bath & Body Works is a nice medium weight – not too rich but not too light. It has a lovely fresh lavender scent that is a little sweet but not too overpowering, and the cream is very moisturizing. I use this during the day because it’s light enough for me to still work and type on my computer.
Almond Hand & Nail Cream This is by far one of my favorite products from The Body Shop. I was having a lot of trouble with my nails and cuticles at the beginning of this year and this cream fixed every issue. It’s a super nourishing cream without being heavy or greasy, and soaks into the skin fairly quickly.
Ginger & Co’s Hand It To Me Dreamy Handcream This is the hand cream currently living in my bag. I think my favorite thing about this cream, besides it making my hands nice and soft, is the delicious smell – a blend of marshmallow, lemon balm, and rose. Smells so good!
Vitamin Hand & Nail Treatment This cream from The Body Shop is more of a thick treatment, so I like to use it mostly at night before bed to allow my hands to absorb it while I’m sleeping. It’s an extremely nourishing hand treatment with a very light, clean scent, and I notice a big difference in my hands when I wake up in the morning after applying it the night before.
Wild Rose Hand Cream I really love how simple and moisturizing this hand cream is – it does it’s job, nothing more or less. I bought the travel size of this scent to test it out because I was worried that it might be too strong, but I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and light the rose scent is. This is the third hand cream from The Body Shop that I’ve tried and I am convinced that they’re the best available.
