How To Get Textured Beachy Waves // A Healthy Sexy Hair Review

Ipsy bag this month, I got a deluxe sample (aka a travel-size bottle) of the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I’d never heard of this product before, but I was super excited to try it because I had been looking for a way to get that tousled, beachy hair look.

The first thing I noticed about this spray was the smell. It’s glorious! It has a light, beachy smell to it – like coconuts and warm sand, but not in an over-powering way. The directions say to spray all over damp, towel-dried hair, or to use as a styling spray and to add volume to your roots. I use it on my hair after I get out of the shower when it’s damp, and let my hair dry naturally. The product comes out of the bottle in a nice mist, which I love because I feel like it gets on every hair follicle that way. This spray is light, non-sticky/crunchy, and adds texture and volume to your hair. It’s also very conditioning, and the argan oil makes my hair really soft and shiny.

I absolutely love how this product works with my hair! I have natural waves, and this sprays works wonderfully with them to create perfectly textured, beachy waves. It’s so easy to jump out of the shower, spray this all throughout my hair, let it air dry, and I’m ready to go! So much cooler than using a hot hair dryer and flat iron, and much cuter than leaving it natural. 🙂 This spray is also a fantastic pick-me-up on day two (or three!) after shampooing. Definitely in love and will be buying the full-size bottle once my sample is out.

Is there a certain way you like to style your hair during the summer to beat the heat? xoxo Mandy
