3 Surefire Ways To Help Take On The Day
I'm a firm believer in preparation being the key to a successful day. Each day throws new stresses our way, whether from school, work, relationships, or activities, and being prepared for anything can keep you from having a meltdown or feeling frustrated all day long. There are certain things I like to do that help me be more prepared and productive, so I'm better able to take on the day no matter what I'm facing.
Look My Best
Making sure I've put some time into my appearance always allows me to get the most out of my day. When I'm looking my best, I feel more productive and likely to get a lot done, plus I have no excuse of not having myself together to stop me from getting out and running errands. One thing I always make sure to do is have my hair freshly colored and styled. Nothing is worse than unwanted grey hairs or a faded dye job, and when your hair is freshly done you just always feel a bit more confident.
I'm a huge fan of the Schwarzkopf Keratin Color dyes because they offer professional quality hair color at home in an array of flattering colors while caring for the hair. I've been using the shade Onyx Black for the past few months to achieve a really gorgeous black that has a beautiful warmth to it. I love these dyes because they're so nice on the hair and incredibly easy to use (just make sure to use gloves and follow all of the safety instructions and you'll have a super easy application). The color always lasts ages, and my strands actually feel incredibly healthy after dyeing them which is a huge change from other dyes I've tried in the past. Keratin Color brings out confidence in every woman by gently restoring and augmenting her hair. With every purchase of Keratin Color, we can also help women get a fresh start through a partnership with Dress for Success® (learn more at dressforsuccess.org). Plan Out My Day
Having a solid plan for my day is absolutely crucial, especially when I have a lot on my to-do list. Each morning, I like to sit down at my desk with a cup of tea and make a small list of things that need to be accomplished for the day. I always make sure to prioritize my list so that the most important things get done first - that way if there are any changes to my usual routine, I can rest easy knowing that at least the crucial things on my list can get checked off.
Keep A Realistic Mind
Along with all of the planning and prepping, it's also extremely important to keep everything in perspective. If there are days where you're not able to get as much done as you wanted or your plans don't completely work out, it's okay. That's just how life is sometimes. It's good to keep a realistic mind so you don't get too upset whenever this happens. I've found that having this attitude is actually what saves days like these from being a complete waste - a positive mind is a game changer!
